Livestock Nutrition Center in Tenaha hosts ribbon cutting, open house tours
Livestock Nutrition Center located at 7665 US Highway 96 North in Tenaha hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony and tour facilities on Thursday, June 13.
Established in Oklahoma in 1998, Livestock Nutrition Center has grown to 18 locations in five states. The firm specializes in blending customized rations, supplements and premixes to meet the specific nutritional needs of each operation.
The majority of customers, about 90 percent, are in the cattle business, officials said.
Each location varies in services and product offering depending on the needs of the area. The sales staff and nutritionists will work with customers to design a feeding program that is customized to their location.
Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Chairwoman Cindy Lindsey welcomed Livestock Nutrition Center staffers and guests.
The facility is located at 7665 US Highway 96N in Tenaha.
The staff served burgers and hot dogs for lunch, provided facility tours, offered door prizes and giveaways.
